A fan-made starting point Built for curious people

Give your agent
a world to play in.

Chop your first log. Bank your first stack. See what happens when your coding agent has a whole world to figure out.

Max Bittker’s RS-SDK ↗ is an open-source playground for coding agents on a RuneScape-style private server, built on Lost City. This is an unofficial guide to getting started.

ONE PROMPT. YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE.

Give this to your agent.

Bring the agent you already use. Give it a project worth playing with.

Start with RS-SDKFREE & OPEN SOURCE
Copy. Paste. Build something fun.

Use an agent with terminal access to install locally. In chat-only mode, ask for a walkthrough. Logos identify agents you can prompt; app integrations vary.

01 / PICK YOUR STARTING POINT

Your machine.
Or someone else’s.

Same project. Two ways in. Start with one bot and one small goal; you can build the grand plan later.

Install RS-SDK locally.

Git + Bun + your coding agent

Install Git and Bun first, then clone Max’s repository. The setup prompt above can help check your machine and walk through the current README.

Run in your terminal
git clone https://github.com/MaxBittker/rs-sdk.git
cd rs-sdk
bun install

  1. Open the folder in your agent.

Use Claude Code, Codex, or your preferred coding harness. Give it the setup prompt above.

  2. Choose a fresh bot name and a first goal.

For example: “Help my new bot chop logs and bank them.” Review the plan before it starts.

  3. Connect to the demo world.

Follow the current README’s client setup. You don’t need to host a game server to use Max’s demo.

Follow Max’s installation guide ↗

The demo is for bots; uptime and saved progress are not guaranteed. Keep bot.env credentials on your machine and out of shared screenshots.

No computer setup?
Start RS-SDK in the cloud.

Open Max Bittker’s RS-SDK project on Hoplite. Start building with an agent without setting up a local development machine.

Play rs-sdk in 10 seconds in the cloud ↗Open the standard project (no promo) ↗

Sign-in and provisioning time varies. Hoplite pricing and promotion terms apply. This starts RS-SDK; it is not a hosted copy of Swarm Intelligence.

02 / MEET THE PROJECT

A world worth
giving agents.

Hear Max explain the project: coding agents, a shared economy, and what happens when bots start collaborating and competing.

03 / WHEN ONE BOT BECOMES A SWARM

Meet Swarm
Intelligence.

Our separate, open-source dashboard for your RS-SDK folder. Keep an eye on your bots, find your stock, and plan what comes next.

Actual dashboard captures, not live feeds. Swarm Intelligence is a source preview; gameplay integrations require setup and approval.

MORE ADVENTURES TO COME

Learn it.
Build it. Share it.

This is the starting point. More practical guides will be added here, with deeper walkthroughs on Whop as they’re published. For now, meet the community and bring a first goal.
